The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association (USSYAA) is a 501(c)(3) public charity in the District of Columbia. Founded in 1999 and incorporated in 2000, the USSYAA is the official alumni association for delegates to the United States Senate Youth Program, established by Senate Resolution 324 in 1962.
Lifetime membership in the USSYAA is granted to all delegates of the United States Senate Youth Program upon successful completion of the program. USSYAA members can vote at Annual Membership Meetings, run for seats on the Board of Directors, participate in USSYAA programs, and attend members-only events.
The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association is not legally affiliated with the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the Hearst Foundation, or the Hearst Foundations. Awards, scholarships, and recognitions granted by the USSYAA are done so in the name of the membership of the USSYAA, and are not associated with the United States Senate Youth Program.
