Donate to the USSYAA

Thanks so much for considering a donation to the USSYAA! Because we’re a Washington, D.C. 501(c)(3) public charity, donations are tax-deductible. Our organization depends on donations to support our scholarship programs, service projects and member outreach efforts. Support from our members (and others) can be directed to either the general fund or to the Rosalie Wynn and George Randolph Hearst, Sr. Scholarship Fund. Either way, they go to supporting our core mission.

Donations support scholarships for our members, annual Alumni Weekend events, and our work to support the US Senate Youth Program.

Every year, the USSYAA hosts alumni events, awards marquee scholarships to our members pursuing continuing education, and supports the United States Senate Youth Program by maintaining avenues of communication among our members. Your support helps keep the USSYAA growing by offering more events, enhanced scholarship opportunities, programs like internship stipends for our younger members, and new media projects like the USSYAA Podcast. We’re an all-volunteer organization, and donations in any amount go a very long way.

Your support also helps us award stipends for members pursuing unpaid public service internships, and helps to get projects like the USSYAA Podcast off the ground. Thank you!

Tax-deductible contributions may be made by credit card or e-check with our secure online donation form or by check sent to USSYAA, P.O. Box 1798, Washington, DC 20013-1798. (If you want your donation to go to the scholarship fund, please indicate “Scholarship Fund” on the memo line.)

Thanks again for your support!

Important note from the USSYAA Board: We try to direct the majority of our donation messaging to our older members, who have completed school. If you’re a younger member, still in college or graduate school, you should never feel as though you’re expected to support our organization to participate… just the opposite! We exist in part to support our younger members. Just don’t forget about us when you make it big!

The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and is not associated with the United States Senate Youth Program.
