The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association elected a new Board of Directors at today’s general membership meeting at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Director of Alumni Programs – Victoria Cundiff (CO-1973)

Director of Technology – Charles Megginson (DE-2016)

Each term, the new Board of Directors elects members to serve as Regional Directors and as our Executive Director. Regional Directors, while typically elected for the same terms as other Board members, “shall be appointed by the Board, shall serve at the pleasure of the Board, and shall be voting members of the Board.”The following individuals were elected today by the Board:
Eastern Regional Director – Johnson Elugbadebo
National Capital Regional Director – Ranen Miao
Southern Regional Director – Victor Agbafe & Marion Lovett
Northern Regional Director – Giuseppe Di Cera
Executive Director – John Blakley (MI-1976)^
The positions of Central Regional Director and Western Regional Director are currently open for nominations.
*Pursuant to the bylaws of the USSYAA, the President of the Association shall be the member who served as President-Elect during the previous term, and the Immediate Past-President shall be the member who served as President during the previous term. At the general membership meeting held in March in every even-numbered year, the President-Elect succeeds to the presidency. All other board positions are directly elected by the membership.
