At our Annual Membership Meeting on March 7, 2026 at the Mayflower Hotel, the membership of the United States Senate Youth Alumni Association officially elected a new Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 term.
The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association is governed by a Board of Directors, elected in even-numbered years by a vote of the general membership to serve two-year terms. With the exception of the President, all Board members are directly elected and assume office upon election. The member elected President-Elect serves two years in that role, and then succeeds to the presidency at the next election for the following two-year term.
The Board of Directors meets monthly via videoconference, at 8pm Eastern on the second Tuesday of the month. Any member of the USSYAA can join a Board meeting at this link.
For the term starting in March 2026 and ending in March 2028, the Board of Directors of the United States Senate Youth Alumni Association includes the following members:
The USSYAA Board of Directors is also divided into committees. Most of the work our Directors contribute to projects, programs and Board-directed initiatives happens in committee settings, rather than at the monthly Board meetings. To observe or participate in a committee meeting, please contact the chairperson of that committee.
