USSYAA Announces Passing of Two Persons Instrumental in the Founding of the Association

August 26, 2004

We are deeply grieved to report the passing of two persons instrumental in the founding of the United States Senate Youth Alumni Association: Mrs. Gladys Hundley, USSYAA special advisor and former business manager to Mrs. Rosalie "Mom" Hearst; and Mr. Craig Hulvey, founding USSYAA parliamentarian.

Mr. Hulvey passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2004, in Loma Linda, California, of heart failure. Mr. Hulvey's services were held in Palm Springs on August 21. His family has suggested donations be made to Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter or a favorite charity.

Mrs. Hundley passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2004, in Hemet, California, after undergoing a significant surgical procedure. Mrs. Hundley's family has informed us that she had requested to be cremated. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 28, 2004 in Hemet, California. Mrs. Hundley's family requests that donations be made to either of two organizations that were held special in Gladys's heart:

La Vista Alcohol-Drug Recovery Center

San Jacinto, CA 92583
Phone: 951-925-8450

Assistance League of Hemacinto
