Alumni Programs Director
Victoria Cundiff (CO 1973), Alumni Programs Director, is a partner at Paul Hastings, LLP in New York, where she focuses on intellectual property counseling and litigation. She is also a Visiting Lecturer in Law at a number of law schools, where she has enjoyed getting to know many more recent USSYP alums, including at Yale, Penn, and starting Spring semester 2021, thanks to our expanded horizons via Zoom, the University of Virginia. She has served on the Board of the York Theatre in New York, which is dedicated to promoting musical theatre by showcasing classics and overlooked gems and fostering new talent. She also provides legal work to assist Open Style Lab, which is committed to making style accessible for everyone, regardless of their cognitive and physical abilities. One of her joys in being part of the USSYAA is working to review applications for the Rosalie Wynn and George Randolph Hearst Scholarship. It is humbling and exhilarating to learn how so many talented alums have carried forward the aspirations the Hearsts hoped to inspire: curiosity, intellect, and community. “Mom” Hearst, who long greeted each and every delegate, would be proud. As with so many alums, Washington Week remains a career highlight, and she even still has her notebook from the many visits and guests that were part of the week.
