Amanda Patarino (CO 2012) is the president-elect of the United States Senate Youth Alumni Association. Amanda has been involved in public service since she was 14 years old and began working with the Colorado legislature as a member of the Colorado Youth Advisory Council. She worked on campaigns in 2010, 2012, and 2014 — taking a semester off from college to help elect fellow USSYP alum Cory Gardner to the US Senate. After graduating from the Schar School of Government at George Mason University, she worked at the nonpartisan Center for Presidential Transition where she launched and managed the Washington Post political appointee tracker and updated the Presidential Transition Guide. She earned a Masters of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, with the help of the USSYAA scholarship, and she now works as a management consultant. She has been involved on the board since 2016.
